Responsible gambling
Betting should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Decide what you can afford to lose before you start — and use the tools below to stick to it.
Our commitment
Racing and Wagering Western Australia is committed to providing wagering in a responsible way. We follow the WA Responsible Wagering Code of Practice and the National Consumer Protection Framework for online wagering. That means clear information, practical control tools, staff trained to help, and no inducements to open an account.
Warning signs
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you recognise any of these. It's okay to ask for help.
- Spending more time or money than you planned.
- Chasing losses — betting more to win back what you've lost.
- Borrowing money, selling things, or missing bills to gamble.
- Betting to escape stress, boredom or low mood.
- Hiding how much you bet from family or friends.
- Feeling anxious, guilty or irritable about your gambling.

Underage gambling
You must be 18 or over to hold an account or bet with TABtovch. We verify identity and age, and it is an offence to bet on behalf of a minor. If children use your devices, consider parental control software such as Net Nanny, Qustodio or Google Family Link, and keep your login details private.
