Honest racing and sport is the foundation of everything we do. Racing and Wagering Western Australia works to protect the integrity of every event we offer markets on, and we have zero tolerance for match-fixing, corrupt betting or the misuse of inside information.
1. Our commitment
We support the National Policy on Match-Fixing in Sport and the integrity frameworks of the racing codes and sporting bodies whose events we cover. Protecting the people who follow racing and sport — and the fairness of the contest — comes before commercial interest.
2. Monitoring & detection
We monitor betting patterns for signs of suspicious or unusual activity that may indicate corruption — for example, unexpected market moves or coordinated betting. Where something looks wrong, we can suspend or void affected markets and escalate the matter.
3. Working with authorities
We cooperate with, and share information with, racing controlling bodies, sporting integrity units, regulators and law-enforcement agencies where appropriate or required by law. This includes providing customer and transaction information in response to lawful integrity investigations. Such disclosures are made consistently with our Privacy Policy.
We cooperate with Sport Integrity Australia and with the sporting controlling bodies whose competitions we offer markets on, including the AFL, the NRL, Cricket Australia, the A-Leagues (Football Australia), Tennis Australia and Basketball Australia / NBL.
For racing, we operate under race-fields use agreements and cooperate on integrity matters with the relevant principal racing authorities — including Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA), Racing NSW, Racing Victoria, Racing Queensland and the other state and territory controlling bodies.
4. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and may be reported to the relevant authorities:
- Match-fixing, spot-fixing, or manipulating any aspect of an event for betting gain.
- Placing bets on the basis of corrupt arrangements.
- Betting by participants (such as athletes, officials or connections) where their rules prohibit it.
- Using automated systems, multiple accounts, or other means to manipulate markets.
Match-fixing and cheating at gambling are criminal offences in Western Australia.
5. Inside information
Inside information means confidential, non-public information about a participant, event or competition — for example team selections, injuries, tactics, suspensions, or the condition or intended running of a horse or greyhound — that is not generally available to the public and that could reasonably affect betting markets if it were known.
Using inside information to place or influence a bet, or passing it on to someone else so they can, undermines integrity and may breach the rules of the relevant sport or racing code, and the law. We do not tolerate it.
6. Report suspicious activity
If you have information about match-fixing, corrupt betting or any threat to integrity, please tell us. Reports can be made confidentially to integrity@tabtovch.mobi. You can also report directly to the relevant racing controlling body or sporting integrity unit.
7. Contact
For integrity matters email integrity@tabtovch.mobi. For general help, see Contact Us. Betting rules are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
